Many of the other pieces in this conference series had the instructions to give it a “funky Vegas look” that would still be “corporate” which I have been translating as “updated Rat Pack” (a Vegas that suits would like) which is why there’s a retro spin. Pardon me while I play fake Dribbble for a second. :) I’ve been working on some invitations for a breakfast at an upcoming conference and I just wanted to share. The original idea (top) was to feature foods from each state (which I like how it was coming out- I might just finish it for the hell of it once the real one goes off to print) and the current iteration (bottom) is to only feature breakfast foods from some states. I don’t do illustration all that often, especially not by hand!, so it was fun to work on. I was going for a cafe meets diner look. Not too shabby!
